i-evAALution

2PCS is part of the i-evAALution Projekt. As part of the project, the impact on the quality of life of the technology of 2PCS is being researched together with other solutions in a bundle in around 405 households in Austria, Holland, Italy and Slovenia.

i-evAALution consists of several information and communication technologies (ICT) and offers a solution to maintain an independent life, to improve it and to increase personal security.

The aim is to make the technologies affordable, user-friendly, safe and reliable and to offer a standard that can be seamlessly integrated into the user’s care environment.

The technologies used have state-of-the-art standards, such as sensor technology and speech recognition, and should be interoperable and easily expandable. Due to the large number of existing AAL technologies, it is important to develop an effective bundle of existing individual solutions that optimally covers the needs of older people in everyday life.
