The European Commission has invited to its second summit on innovations in the area of active and healthy ageing. The summit took place in Brussels from the 6th to the 8th of December 2016. A program of workshops and plenary sessions was created to exchange visions of relevant stakeholders and politicians. The central theme was how innovations in the future could change our health and care system in Europe. The demographic change can be an opportunity for social development and economic growth. The goal was to find out what effective changes it would require in the health and care system over the next five years.

A unique format with unique networking opportunities where politicians encounter established industrialists, innovative start-ups, investors, health and care organizations and civil society organizations. ICT ministers, representatives of WHO and OECD from all G7 countries were present which shows the high relevance of the topic.

2PCS had the chance to conduct exciting conversations and received only positive feedback.
